Quick Search can be used to search books on the basis of title, author,
ISBN and YOP (Year of Publishing). User can select any one of the options
to get the search details.

Smart Search |
This search is advance level search and it is divided into two sections
Keyword Search and Parameter Search.

Keyword Search |
|
Keyword search is used if you do not know the exact name of the Title you are
trying to locate. You have to give a single keyword as parameter, which is then searched by the system through the
entire database/ catalogue. The keyword can be anything relating to the Title - its title, author's name, title
summary etc. All Titles in the database matching this keyword in any of the above mentioned criterions are listed
as search results.

Parameter Search |
|
Parameter search is used when you know some of the details about the Title you
are trying to locate. You just need to enter the parameters of the Titles like
title, author name, year of publication, ISBN number etc. and carry out the
search. Using these parameters, system will search the database / catalogue and
locate the Title if it is present in the catalogue.
